Lobi Stars claimed the spoils against ABS, while there were a number of draws on Wednesday’s match day four action.
Lobi Stars halted ABS FC’s unbeaten run in the ongoing campaign as they ran riot over the Saraki Boys by winning 3-0 at the Aper Aku Stadium.
The Pride of Benue started the game as the brightest side; they had two corner-kicks in the space of five minutes.
Lobi took total control of the game as they toyed with the Saraki Boys with their swift and juicy football.
In the 28th minute, Kingsley Eduwo drew the first blood as the Makurdi fans found their voices.
Some minutes later, Anthony Okpotu had the opportunity to double the lead from the penalty spot but he missed his kick.
It was back and forth as Lobi Stars looked dangerous whenever they had possession. They reduced the game to a mere training as ABS had no answers to the play pattern of the Makurdi based club.
A goal each from Eduwo and Nwangwa Nyima at injury time of the second half completed the rout for Lobi Stars.
